Stuffed Squid – Vermouth Tomato Sauce

So, what happens when you mix a bunch of squid and a handful of pantry ingredients? Simple pan seared calamari salad. Or maybe even stuffed squid. If you think stuffed squid sounds complicated, it’s not. Here is a basic step-by-step of how to do it. For the recipe and ingredients, check out my recipe for it on FishingChef.com: Bacon Stuffed Squid in a Tomato Vermouth Sauce. Click on each picture below for a close up.

  1. Make the stuffing.
  2. Stuff the squid bodies.
  3. Seal the body cavity with a toothpick.
  4. Place in oven-safe pan with the sauce. Cover and bake.
  5. Serve.
